-
What is Walk Your Plans, and how does it work?Walk Your Plans allows clients to experience their architectural and building designs at full scale. Using advanced projection technology, your floor plans are displayed in life-sized detail on the floors and walls of our 6,500 sq ft showroom. You can walk through each room, visualize layouts, and collaborate with your team to make adjustments before construction begins. This helps to catch design flaws, optimize spaces, and make more informed decisions.
-
When are you opening? Our projectors will be installed the week of August 25, and we plan to start taking our first demos and appointments the week of September 8, 2025. Please reach out if you'd like to be among the first to experience our space!
-
How is pricing structured? We price sessions in 1-hour increments, with block-rate discounts available for industry professionals who want to book multiple sessions or make Walk Your Plans part of their ongoing client experience. Because every project is unique based on size, complexity, and team needs, we provide custom quotes to ensure you’re only paying for the time and resources you need. Contact us directly, and we’ll give you a tailored estimate.
-
How long does a typical session run?Sessions typically run about 90 minutes, which works well for homes under 3,000 square feet. Larger projects may need two hours or more, especially if you’re bringing your full team (architect, designer, contractor) for in-depth discussions. You’ll also have access to our complimentary private meeting space before and after your session, so you can review plans, talk through ideas, and make decisions without feeling rushed. We’re happy to recommend the right session length based on your project; just reach out and we’ll guide you.
-
What files or documents are required? We can project any PDF, but for the most accurate experience, we recommend providing your plans in common file formats like PDF, CAD, or DWG, with a digital scale included. This could be architectural plans, designer files, or even a scanned hand-drawn layout. Our team will review your files and make sure they’re correctly formatted for the best projection results.
-
Can you project in color?Yes, our projection is in full color which is great for renderings, landscape design, interior design, and more.
-
Do I need to bring a home professional with me to walk my plans? No, you do not need a home professional (architect, builder, designer) to be present to walk your plans. However we do recommend bringing in your team (spouse, family, team) to make on the spot changes and corrections.

Why 2D and not VR?3D renderings and VR headsets can be great for showing style, finishes, and mood—but they often fall short when it comes to true-to-life scale and spatial flow. VR in particular comes with several limitations: Perception distortion – Spaces can feel larger or smaller than they will in real life. Cost of hardware and software – High-quality VR setups can be expensive, limiting access for some clients and professionals. Learning curve – Technical setup and unfamiliar controls can be intimidating for less tech-savvy users. Physical discomfort – Motion sickness, eye strain, or fatigue can occur after even short sessions. Limited collaboration – VR is typically a solo experience, with others only able to watch on a screen. With full-scale 2D projections, everyone can walk through the space together, test furniture placement, check sightlines, and feel how the layout works, with no headset required. It’s the most accurate, accessible way to confirm your design before committing to construction. For the best of both worlds, we can also project 3D renderings and elevations on our vertical wall, giving you realistic views alongside your life-size floor plan for complete confidence in your design.
-
Can I make real-time changes to my plans during my session?Yes! If your architect or designer brings a laptop, they can make live adjustments to your plans, and we can project the updated designs instantly, saving time and making collaboration more productive. We also have Vibe Boards in both the conference space and on the showroom floor. These interactive digital whiteboards let you mark up plans, sketch ideas, add notes, and share changes in real time, making it easy to brainstorm and refine your design on the spot. This can often prevent the need for additional sessions later.
-
